DESIGN SPECS & INSPIRATION

Hood’s Up Brewery is a small-contract brewery located in Orlando, Florida. I developed the initial logo in 2010 and rebranded the logo 2018. The secondary logo is a vintage black and white sign that was inspired by vintage gas station signs from the 1950s. The primary logo is the featured HU. The brewery decided to use their initials for the primary logo since the brand is known in the craft beer community. To view the live website click here.

The brewery tests batch beers and are used as giveaways to receive feedback from the general public before they are brewed on a larger system, meaning the labels had to be designed with cost in mind.
For the can releases, I wanted them to look like the front of a vintage car with pin striping.
